Why We Require An Integration Period
At My Wellness Academy, Reiki Level 2 is not available immediately after Reiki Level 1. This decision is intentional.
The period between levels allows students to:

- Develop familiarity with Reiki

- Establish a stronger foundation before progressing
This approach often feels slower. But it creates stronger practitioners. And stronger practitioners ultimately serve their clients more effectively.

Reiki Level 2 is an IICT Accredited Course. My Wellness Academy is an IICT Premier Training Provider, and this practitioner-level training has been accredited through IICT, supporting graduates to access IICT professional membership and insurance through its recommended insurance partners.
As you move into practitioner-level training, you become eligible to join the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) as a practitioner member — accessing professional recognition, member support, and access to professional indemnity and public liability insurance through IICT's partner, BMS. Joining Reiki Level 2 After Training Elsewhere
Practitioners who completed Reiki Level 1 with another teacher are welcome to join a Reiki Level 2 workshop at My Wellness Academy.
When you book online, you'll be asked to upload your Reiki Level 1 certificate and lineage. This simply helps confirm you have the foundations needed to gain the greatest benefit from the training.
The purpose is not to compare teachers or judge previous training experiences. It is simply to identify whether there are any gaps in knowledge, understanding or practical experience that may need to be addressed.
Over the years, I have observed significant variation in how Reiki is taught. My responsibility as an educator is to ensure every student entering Reiki Level 2 is positioned for success.
If additional preparation is recommended, this will be discussed openly, respectfully and with your long-term development in mind before your place is confirmed.

When you book, you'll be asked to upload your Reiki Level 1 certificate and lineage. This simply helps confirm you have the foundations to get the most from Level 2 — and if any preparation would help beforehand, I'll let you know before your place is confirmed.
